Unable to help him, the gang run with Hercule through the trees to an old building, where they take up arms and fight off the soldiers.Īfterwards, Hercule leads the gang through the jungle. The other men escape, but Javier is shot down and is captured by the soldiers. As more soldiers arrive, the leader of the ambush, Hercule Fontaine, urges the gang to come with him fast. Suddenly, the militia's leader is ambushed, and Arthur is able to steal one of their guns and kill the guards while the others free themselves. Eventually, some local guerrilla rebels are found and added to the gang's chain. After putting the men in chains, Simon escorts them up the beach and explains about the "labor troubles" he and Fussar are having with the locals and promises to free the gang once he knows more about them, before telling his troops (in Spanish) to take the group back to their base and imprison them.Īfter Simon rides off, Dutch tells Arthur that they must not let the militia find out about them.
